The actual height of machine is 4 ft. and after packing with wooden crate it increases to 8 inches more.The height of container is 8 ft and after loading of one layer the upper space remains empty, which increases logistic cost.
At the time of survey, APML team observed the above method of packing and has come up with the solution to it which can reduce the logistic cost without compromising on packing quality.

By using this packing method the height of machine after packing remains the same, It also minimizes the cost and by this we can load two layers of machines in a single container.
In the above example, machine is having wheels and it is 4 inches higher from the floor. We made a pallet of 5 inches and leave four corners empty. This resulting in the machine can fit into the pallet properly with wheels.

Traditionally in India, the transportation of goods are carried on the General Cargo Ships, where variety of goods loaded on the truck of occurs the scenario of unadjustable loading arrangement or rack system due to that there are high chances of consignment damage or spoiled due to opposite nature. As per study, the General carrier used to take a month for just loading/unloading operation and 40% of goods were damaged during the transit.
